Folklorei
This Disclaimer governs your use of folklorei.com (the “Site”), operated by Folklorei, a brand of ArtisanMade Studio. Please read it alongside our Terms & Conditions. By using the Site you accept this Disclaimer.
The content on this Site is provided for general information about our pieces, our makers, and the traditions behind them. While we take care to keep it accurate and current, we make no warranty that it is complete, error-free, or up to date at all times.
Every piece we sell is made or finished by hand. Variation in colour, grain, weight, texture, carving depth, and finish is inherent to handmade work and is not a fault. No two pieces will be identical, and the piece you receive will differ in small ways from the one photographed.
Product photographs are representative rather than exact. Colour reproduction varies between screens, and lighting at the time of photography affects how a finish appears. Where a photograph is a studio or styled image, props shown are for context only and are not included unless the listing says so.
Many of our pieces are made today in traditional styles and techniques. Words such as “heritage”, “antique-finish”, “vintage-style”, or the name of a regional tradition describe the craft vocabulary and aesthetic of a piece — they are not a representation of age, period, or provenance. Where a piece is genuinely old or carries documented provenance, we state that explicitly in its listing. If provenance matters to your purchase, please ask us before ordering.
Stated dimensions are approximate and, for handmade items, may vary slightly. Please measure your space, doorways, stairwells, and lifts before ordering larger pieces. Material descriptions reflect our best understanding from our makers and suppliers. We cannot accept responsibility for a piece that does not fit a space or does not suit a scheme.
Despite our best efforts, listings may occasionally contain errors in price, description, or availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors and to cancel affected orders, with a full refund, as set out in our Terms & Conditions. Any price shown in a currency other than Indian Rupees is an indicative conversion for guidance only; your order is charged in Indian Rupees.
Care guidance on this Site is general. Wood, metal, stone, and textile pieces respond to heat, damp, and direct sunlight, and some finishes are not suited to outdoor or high-moisture use. We are not liable for damage arising from use, placement, cleaning, or installation outside the guidance supplied with a piece.
Nothing on this Site constitutes interior design, structural, valuation, investment, or legal advice. Pieces are sold for decorative and domestic use. Fittings such as wall panels, brackets, and mirrors should be installed by a competent professional using fixings appropriate to your wall.
The Site may link to or embed material hosted elsewhere, including lookbooks, maps, and social media. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it or for the privacy practices of those third parties.
Reviews and testimonials reflect the experience of individual customers. They are personal opinions and are not a guarantee that you will have the same experience.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Folklorei and ArtisanMade Studio accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the content of this Site. This Disclaimer does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian law.
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The date shown at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
